How Are We Making A Change?

At Red Chutney, we don’t just impact productions by providing diverse and exciting menus; we are always looking to do more to positively impact the environment too.

Each production we work with allows the opportunity for us to implement more green initiatives and sustainable choices, helping us lead the industry-wide change needed to save our planet.

FOOD DONATION

All our surplus food is donated to City Harvest, a charity that redistributes food to over 350 schools, charities and shelters around London.

PILGRIM FOOD SERVICE

Pilgrim Food Service supplies all our biodegradable disposables for use in our productions.

QUATRA

Quatra collects and converts used cooking oils and fats into essential raw materials for biofuels, promoting responsible resource management.

FIRST MILE

Used grounds are sent to First Mile’s partner company, where they are first cleaned to remove any contaminants before being transformed into a variety of products.

BIO COLLECTORS

Bio Collectors is the largest recycler and collector of food waste in London. The company’s anaerobic digestion plant can process 100,000 tonnes of waste annually, generating the equivalent of 6MW of gas and 1.7MW of electricity per hour.
